Projects offered:

Stability and Unfolding of bacterial S-layers crystallised on solid supports

Low Tech Microsystems for High Tech Applications

Nano/bio Electronics of the Future

Bioreactors, Biochemical Catalysts for Green Engineering

These projects can be applied through the PhD Program on Chemical Process Engineering. (red area> New applicants > How to apply)

The scholarships to work on these projects can be applied during al the year but there are two admision dates on the PhD program on October and on February.

With date 22/12/03 there are offered two posts for students that want to course a PhD. The projects is called: "PhD studentships for completion of PhD in bioelectrochemistry/nanobioelectronics/biofuel cell research".

[Period closed] you can ask for the CAROLINA Studentship to do your PhD studies in a spanish university. This studentship is directed to students from Latin America. This studentship can be asked for from 1st January 2004 till 31st May 2004

[Period closed] You can ask for the Becas ALBAN to do predoctoral stays. This grant is directed to students from Latinoamérica. This grant can be asked for from 17th October 2003 till 5th January 2004 if it's brought in paper or till 22th January 2004 if it's brought in electronic format.

[Period closed] you can ask for the Becas MAE-AECI to do a predoctoral stay during the year 2004/2005. This grant can be asked for from 1st October till 21st December 2003.

It's ruled a post for a PhD student on chemical engineering to collaborate on a research project of the group. The 30 of May the Center had ruled that thepost will be offered to Marta Jiménez Quiles.
