SENIOR POSITIONS

There are currently two opportunities to apply through our group for tenure track research positions: ICREA and Ramon y Cajal. This last one is only accessible for researchers who got a positive acceptance of the Spanish Ministry regarding the Ramón y Cajal call.

The Ramon y Cajal position is funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Technology (Ramon y Cajal or RYC) and the ICREA position is funded by the catalan government.

ICREA POSITION
Position open

The Catalan government has opened now the call for permanent research posts for senior researchers, the so called ICREA (Catalan Institute of Research and Advanced Studies) positions. The minimum requierements are a Ph.D. degree, at least three years of international exposure and some postdoctoral experience.

DINAMIC and BBG invite you to apply to come to work with us in the area of "Technology" and subareas "biomaterials" or "Nanoscience and Nanotechnology". To apply to come to DINAMIC you just need to mention this group in the area of the application where it is asked if you know of any research group in Catalonia that you prefer (Catalan centres or Universities of your preference).

You can take a look in the project presented by our Group and it's so general that can be adjusted to your needs. There is no link to a specific project this year, the Institute has identified the priority areas according to the number of applications in each one and the potential of the groups applying in each one.In the previous link you can also find a short description of the group and what type of researcher we are seeking.

RAMON Y CAJAL (RYC) POSITIONS

DINAMIC offers three postdoctoral positions granted by the Ramón y Cajal programme in the areas:
(Area de conocimiento ANEP):

Chemical Engineering (ANEP: Tecnología química / Ingeniería química)
Physical Chemistry (ANEP: Química / Química Física)
Organic Chemistry (ANEP: Química / Química Orgánica)

Characteristics of the call

Beneficiary: Persons with a PhD who have presented their thesis maximum 10 years ago (the legal maternity periods and military service will not be included) .

Characteristics of position: Contract for 5 years and Retribution of 30.300 euros/ year

Call process: There are 300 positions (divided in different areas) available all over Spain. The selection will be made among all the appliers depending on their CV and the presented project. In parallel the research centers will offer postdoctoral positions to which the candidate will have the possibility to apply once he or she has been selected. The selected person and the research center will have to contact each other to come to an agreement regarding the contract and the starting date.

The DINAMIC advantage: Successful applicants that choose to work with DINAMIC will take advantage of a series of benefits that are difficult to be found in other centers/Universities/Research groups. DINAMIC seeks entrepreneurial scientists with Academic or private sector career plans. We are especially interested in experts in bioelectrochemistry, organic and bioorganic synthesis and physical chemistry. The qualified applicants will receive help with the application procedure(see below) but in addition their position will be accompanied by:

- Free remuneration negotiation up to two times the minimum offered by the ministry based on qualifications
- A scholarship for a PhD student from the first day of incorporation
- Space and equipment to start up projects/research line
