The innovation center CTQ was founded in 2000 to develop and apply innovative technologies and applications in the fields of process engineering, environmental engineering, transport phenomena, computational science and artificial intelligence.

CTQ belongs to the network of innovation centers of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan government. This network is composed of research units with an outstanding and renowned tradition in providing technological innovation services to the industry.
